VISA
EU citizens
Citizens of the European Union and the European Economic Area do not need a visa to enter Poland and they can stay on the territory of the RP for up to 3 months, on the basis of a valid travel document or another valid document that confirms his identity and citizenship.
LEGAL STAY IN POLAND
However if the stay on the territory of the RP is longer 3 months, they must register their stay.
First Step:
Place: Department of Civic Issues and Foreigners
4 Spokojna Street, 20-914 Lublin
List of documents required:
· Application for registering the residence (3 copies)
· Certificate issued by IEO that you are a student (responsible person: Anna Radziszewska a.radziszewska@pollub.pl)
· having health insurance copy (EHIC Card)
· written declaration of having of sufficient financial means or a credit card copy
· ID Card
No fees! The case is handled in one week. After one week you will receive the Certificate of Registering the Residence of a European Union Citizen
Second Step:
Temporary Residence Registration
In 30 days from the date of the arrival
Place: Lublin Town Hall
14 Wieniawska Street
- Complete the form „Zgloszenie czasowego pobytu” [Temporary Residence Registration Form (the signature and the stamp of your Residence Administrator is obligatory)
- Please present the Certificate of Registering the Residence of a European Union Citizen (delivered by the Department of Civic Issues and Foreigners)
No fees!
The case is handled immediately

Non-EU citizens
Non-EU citizens need to apply for a visa before their arrival in Poland. In order to apply for a student visa, candidates need to receive an acceptance letter from the Lublin University of Technology which can be issued once all the application documents are submitted.
Please note that visa policies can vary depending on the country and an acceptance letter might not be sufficient to obtain a visa in some countries.
