International Staff Training Week at TUIASI - Romania

We are pleased to invite the administrative staff from your university, both from central and faculty level, to attend the International Week organised by ”Gheorghe Asachi” Technical University of Iași, Romania, on 9 – 13 October 2017.

The training week will focus on Internationalisation of universities –
Inside and Out and it will include a presentation of our university and of
its International Relations – Erasmus+ Office, round tables and visits to
our 11 faculties. At the round tables the participants are invited to
present their universities and their work, so that all the participants
can benefit from each other’s experience, discussing the strong and weak
points they have, as well as good practices in various kind of university
administration fields. We also plan a trip to the fabulous land of the
monasteries, part of the UNESCO heritage.
Iași, our city, considered the cultural capital of Romania, it is worth
while visiting. In Iași, where in 1860 the first Romanian modern
university was founded, you have plenty of places to visit. Among other
tourist attractions, we shall take you to the Palace of Culture, the
symbol of our city. a rich museum hosting, among many valuable
collections, the Museum of Science and Technique.
The period of our International Week coincides with the city days, when we
all celebrate St. Parascheva, the protector of our city. During these days
the city is full of pilgrims came from both Romania and abroad to pray to
her for health and welfare.
Should you or your colleagues decide to come, please note that all the
information regarding the International Week is to be found accessing the
link http://www.intstw.tuiasi.ro/.

Hoping that you and your colleagues will choose to join us for this event,
we look forward to welcoming you at TUIASI in October!
