LUBLIN COALITION FOR INTEGRATION

coalitionfullWe would like to encourage you to participate in the project Lublin Coalition for Integration. The project LUBLIN COALITION FOR INTEGRATION is co-funded from the National Programme of the Asylum, Migration and Integration Fund and the state budget. The project began on July 1, 2018 and it will have been finished by June 30, 2020

THE PROJECKT OFFERS FOR FREE:

Polish language courses for foreigners – The classes are conducted using modern teaching techniques and adapted to the level of Polish of the participants. The courses are run on basic, intermediate and advanced levels. The courses will start in October.

Integration and cultural training / adaptation courses – This training is a great opportunity to learn about Polish values, culture, history and tradition. As part of the training, trips to places historically and culturally important will be organised.

Soft skills training – We plan to organise six editions of the training as well as individual career counselling for the project participants. The subject matter of the courses will concern memorising techniques, time management skills, creativity, preparing a job application (CV and cover letter), self-presentation, principles of savoir-vivre, identifying professional potential and ways of determining future career.

Summer School „Protection of Migrant’s Rights”- A one-week summer school will be organised in July 2019 and August 2019. Participants will acquire knowledge on effective protection of their rights. The programme of the Summer School covers daily classes and networking visits. A trip to Kazimierz Dolny is also included in the programme.

Dedicated Migrant Support Office – It is a place where foreigners can get help in solving everyday problems, such as searching for a flat or visiting a doctor. The support office offers consultation by intercultural mentors, who will be on duty three days a week between 10a.m.-6p.m. to offer help on site and in the field.

Day-care room for migrant children (age 6-10) - Organised in cooperation with young and senior volunteers.

Orientation week – At the beginning of October 2018 we would like to invite new students to Orientation Week - a series of workshops aimed to help newcoming foreign students overcome adaptation problems.

Educational trips around Lublin and other interesting places

Common Room – It is a place to meet people from various cultures and nationalities to chat and exchange experience. It also offers participation in various cultural events like visits to the cinema, theatre or concerts. You are also welcome to come up with your ideas to create that place!
